challenges and enhance safety through automation.
Innovating on our flagship RAT (Relief Automation Technology) and
BAT (Bleed-Down Automation Technology) platforms, the Compact
Unit reduces the footprint, operating cost, and adds depressurization
adjustability into a single unit. The Compact Unit performs as a bleed
down for frac as well as other applications up to 14 BPM.
The Compact Unit prevents human exposure during wellhead
equalization after a flowline pressure test or full pumping system
depressurization. Instead of manually operating valves, the operator
uses a remote electronic control to specify the desired pressure condition and
command the valve to open, bleeding down at a controlled rate.
